Calabria

Dad sent these pictures to me to scan, upload, and post here on the blog. They are from Sambiase, the town in Calabria where our family is from. Dad says a lot of Folinazzos still live there. The home pictured on the left is where some Folinazzos currently live. As for the photo on the right, Dad claims that the woman on the balcony was flirting with him. Yes, flirting with my father. Right. Anyway, she asked him why he was in Sambiase and he responded by saying that he’s looking for a Calabrese wife. The woman just laughed and waved her arm at him, as if she were saying, “Take your nonsense elsewhere, Americano pazzo!”

I did not say that the woman was flirting with me. She just watched every move I made and when I entered the house she went directly to her rear balcony and watched me from there. She started the conversation with me and my escorts, Giuseppe and Francesco when my visit was over and she probably intensly interviewed the Folinazzo’s when I left the property. Also when I was in front of the building I noticed her gang, more women, looking at me from behind the curtains in their houses. Just ponder this, if this was Accerra the women would be disappointed because I was still alive and had not died from ulcers, heart attack, or other stressful symptoms. At least the Calabrese women were glad that I could satisfy their curious questions.

Don’t be back-pedaling now, Dad. You did in fact tell me that the woman in the photo was flirting with you. I couldn’t have made up something so ludicrous. Secondly, maybe the women of Accerra just think you need a good ass-kickin’. Ponder that.

i do have to agree with daddy on this one. lmao!

Tuna now you just showed that you inherited bad blood. I’m not talking about your oriental blood either. Also the women of Accerra have a higher killing rate then the ancient “Amazons”. If she was flirting with me then she showed off like Janet Jackson did during half time at the Super bowl.

She had a wardrobe malfunction?! What, did her house coat lose a couple of buttons?

  6. Felicia Says:

I don’t think any of us inherited bad blood. Why are you ripping on women from Accerra? You fell in love with an Accerra woman when you were 13. You dated her for over 10 years. You married her. You produced three (3) children. If you really thought women from Accerra were that bad, would you have done all this??? C’mon now.

  7. Francesca Says:

    Yeah, what she said!!

I still stand by everything I said. I inqured about the population of Italian towns and learned that in Accerra there are only four males left and they actually live there and the female population allow them to survive to show the rest of the world that men do exist there. When tourists visit Accerra the city council rents males from other towns and they can return home after the visits. Also the woman you are referring to was born in the U.S. not Accerra, but the older women around her were born in Accerra and lived in the neighborhhod and passed on deadly secrets to other females in the neighborhood. I am starting to believe you,”Petunia”, are from outer space. Remember I am the one that obsereved your heart beats on a screen while you were in yours mothers stomach and it looked like a plain flat line to something appearing and sounding like a woodpecker beating on tree bark. Well enough said, now I will retire to my yard and look for small animals to kill or injure. Oh, before I forget, even though alot of the neighborhood women had Accerra roots, they all preferred CALABRESE SALSICCE, over other brands.
