Blackhawks’ “One Goal” commercial
This commercial gives me the chills.
If I were one of those kids, I’d have passed out from seeing Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane at my hockey practice. But it’s refreshing to see the advancement of youth hockey in recent years, and it’s nice to see the Blackhawks players getting involved in the community. Hockey’s popularity is growing exponentially; makes me even more impatient to get Lucia on skates!

That’s just it, Frank: stuff like this didn’t happen when you were playing youth hockey. It’s taken this long for youth hockey to catch on, and for the pro hockey team in our city to realize that it’s an effort worth supporting. I think it’s great and I can’t wait for my daughter to be old enough so we can become involved.
