After 35 years with the Chicago Police Department, Dear Old Dad hung up the gunbelt and turned in the badge. But, as you can see, he kept the riot helmet. The whole famiglia went out last Friday to celebrate his retirement. Here are some pictures from the festive evening. Oh, and Dad, you don’t know it yet, but you’re taking me fishing sometime this summer since you’ll have nothing else better to do. Congratulations again!
