Crunch time
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008Yes, another year has gone by and it’s pretty scary how quickly time is passing. Now with the holidays behind us, it is crunch time. Christmas is over – we all had a wonderful time spending days and meals with all sorts of family and friends; Dad is back in Arizona (I’m not happy about that); and now Mark and I turn our focus to all things baby. I am currently 27 ½ weeks pregnant and that means we have 11-12 weeks to get everything ready for the arrival of our little one. The room we’ve designated as the nursery is a disaster: we need to lay the laminate flooring and paint the room but, before we do that, we have to remove all of the junk we’ve piled in there the last several weeks. Oh, and Mark and I are still disagreeing on nursery furniture and boys’ names, so that needs to be resolved, too.
Above all else, the pregnancy is going well. Baby and I are doing just fine. I’m finally beginning to look and feel pregnant, and baby is kicking and punching away! I have another ultrasound scheduled for next week. Hopefully they’ll give me another one of those groovy 3D images of the baby and I’ll post it here. Now, back to furniture shopping…
