As kids, we all rocked ‘em. If you wanted any respect in this neighborhood, you had to wear one. You were cool if you had one. Well, I had one. So did Francesca and Frankie. We demanded them! This is a picture of Francesca and me and our first Italian jackets. Damn, we were cool!

Our neighborhood news source, the Near West Gazette, recently ran an article about a newer crime-fighting initiative by the Chicago Police Department. My father, Frank, a retired CPD detective, just happens to be involved in this program. Read the entire article here. Good work, Dad!
