…to the Chicago White Sox for clinching the AL Central title yesterday. Unlike many Sox fans, this Cubs fan is capable of recognizing a talented ball club and congratulating said club on an extraordinary season. Would I rather see the Cubs in the playoffs? Of course. But I do not hate the White Sox. After all, they are a Chicago team and I wish them well. Let’s keep in mind, too, that the second longest World Series drought belongs to none other than the White Sox. 1917, baby.
