Not your everyday sandwich

Friday, June 24th, 2005

It was suggested by a few of my very worldly and well-traveled mates that I try banh mi, a Vietnamese sandwich. I have no prior experience with Vietnamese food but I’m always up for something new. Puckin’ Cubs!

Friday, June 24th, 2005

There’s no denying that the White Sox are an incredible team but…. 12-2?! Come on! The Cubs’ performance today was pathetic. It was putrid, paltry, and pitiful. And we need to get rid of Patterson, as in Corey. He’s the portrait of an underachiever. If the Cubs manage to win one game against the Sox this weekend, chalk it up to providence and probability.

Cubbies are cruisin’

Thursday, June 2nd, 2005
My Cubbies are on fire right now, thanks in part to the dazzling performance of first baseman Derrek Lee. Last night the Cubs completed a three-game sweep of the L.A. Dodgers as Lee went 5-for-5, including a 3-run ... [Continue reading this entry]
